Oh my goodness if I could give this place 6 stars I would - the falafel platter here is literally outstanding. It's so crispy, paired with the fluffiest rice, freshest salad and most yummy sauces. Really the perfect place to go with friends for dinner. In such a prime location in Somerville close to parking, great ambiance in the restaurant and the bread starter is delish!! Cannot recommend this place enough!

My review is for take out; which was great! I don't have complaints really but maybe a suggestion. My bf got the chicken Milanese and I got their chicken fileto. Both were delicious and the chicken Milanese was still crispy by the time I got home, which isn't the case typically. I inhaled my entire meal and wish there was more lemon sauce on my fileto or served in a container. I noticed the sauce was absorbed into the paper container so that was my only suggestion. Price is a lil high for the portion. Don't worry though, we still enjoyed it and will be back, maybe dine in since the restaurant is beautiful and clean. No picture's unfortunately...next time!

Welcoming, delightful staff especially our server, Saul. The menu options, so extensive and interesting... delicious too. After a rough start at another area restaurant which we left after appetizers and disappointing service we found Kyma Greek on Yelp and headed right over. Out experience deserved more than 5 stars. Since we had appetizers elsewhere we opted to share a dish that Saul highly recommended--- the lamb shank with a tapas dish of spanakopita. Our meal was prepared and plated to perfection. With a fork the meat melted off the shank done into the tomato based rice mix. So tender and tasty. As was the spanakopita which came in 4 individual triangle shaped pieces. Saul was soft spoken, smiling, warm and helpful. We will be back for sure... what a great vibe. FYI parking can be a real pain in the ass, but it's worth it.

Went with friends to kick off the Holiday Season! It was a good decision. Cozy ambience, friendly service, great food and awesome company (bring your own :) Been going to Kyma for over 8 years. The flavors are fresh, light and feel wholesome. Lamb chops as always were perfect, the Greek (aka French) Fries seasoned well, Halibut with the Beans in Tomato sauce was full of flavors and the desserts yum! As with anything prices have gone up over the years. $70+ per head. We shared appetizers with individual entrees.

I went with a group of my coworkers and we had a good time. I got the moussaka, and I was a little disappointed when I found out it had lamb and beef. I wish it had said that on the menu. It was still good. Everyone else's food looked and smelled good. Everyone who worked there was nice, too.

Still excellent! The halloumi salad is very tasty and the moussaka was as good as we had in Greece. The chicken souvlaki was a little over salted for me but otherwise was good. Service was efficient and quick. Ambiance is great and I love their sidewalk patio which is dog friendly.

Kyma is nice BYOB Greek restaurant in the heart of Somerville. On a Friday evening, reservations were definitely needed as seating was quite limited. Our server was friendly and shared great recommendations, but we decided to try the chicken souvlaki platter which was quite filling. The chicken was very tender and marinated beautifully in lemon and spices. The fries were crispy and the salad had a beautiful dressing. Pita bread also was a component of the platter in addition to the pita and pea dip that we received prior to the meal being served. Both pitas were very soft and warm. I look forward to returning to Kyma with a bottle of wine next time!

Service is a solid 5 stars. Our waitress, Darlene, had a smile throughout our entire meal here. She made us feel like family. My first experience with Greek cuisine was in NYC in the late 80s. Greek cuisine always tastes like it comes from family recipes with an emphasis on healthy high-quality ingredients and fresh herbs. We started with some warm pita bread with what I thought was hummus but it was split pea spread instead. It had a smooth buttery texture to it. Here is what we ordered: - Lemon Sole Milanese (fish remained tender with the crispy breading) - Chicken Fileto (my son ate it so fast I couldn't even get a bite) - Shrimp Santorini (served with linguini in a delicious plum tomato sauce) All of our entrees came in a timely manner. There is care in the presentation. Every dish we had tastes as amazing as it looked. The huge plump shrimps in my Santorini were cooked and seasoned perfectly. All the main ingredients shined through. Portions were huge and we had to take some home. At the end of our meal, the owner surprised us with a beautiful, yummy dessert on the house (Ek Mek with Semolina custard, kataifi & pistachio). That made our Easter luncheon extra sweet. THANK YOU!!
